"They want to be free": SP leader's controversial remark on Taliban irks Yogi Adityanath

Shafiqur Rahman Barq, Samajwadi Party member of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal, sparked a row with his controversial comment on Taiban's capture of power in Afghanistan. Barq said the Taliban were trying to 'free' their country and it's their internal matter. Reacting to this, UP CM Yogi Adityanath said, “He was shamelessly supporting the Taliban. It means supporting their barbaric act. We are a parliamentary democracy."
