TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee to be questioned by ED in coal smuggling case

TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, the nephew of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, will be questioned today by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the alleged coal smuggling case. Banerjee will be quizzed by the agency in its Delhi office. The TMC leader will be questioned under section 50 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Banerjee's wide Rujira was also summoned by the agency on September 1 but she skipped the summons.
