TMC MP Santanu Sen suspended from Rajya Sabha over snatching IT minister’s papers

TMC MP Santanu Sen has been suspended by Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu for the rest of the Monsoon Session for snatching papers from Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. Sen had yesterday snatched papers from the IT minister and tore them during a heated debate over the Pegasus row. “Santanu Sen, please withdraw from the House. Allow the House to function," Chairman Venkaiah Naidu said. Rajya Sabha is adjourned till 12 pm.
