Tokyo's 2020 Olympic Relay map sparks controversy with South Korea

The South Korean government has chastised Japan for presenting disputed national territories on an official map for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as a part of Japan. Politicians have warned that if Japan does not budge, Seoul will boycott the Olympics. Japan rejected the proposal stating Tokyo will deal with the problem calmly and effectively. The Olympic Games in Tokyo were suspended because of lockdown, but they will resume this year.
