Trace messages with fingerprint: Indian govt to WhatsApp

To curb fake news and misinformation, the Indian government has asked WhatsApp to digitally fingerprint each message sent on the platform. In last few overs, several lynching incidents happened in India due to misinformation spread on Whatsapp and the authorities are now insisting Whatsapp to find a way around it. They also said anonymity could not continue for long. It is time for the internet to take responsibility.
