A Tunisian MP attracted everyone's attention as she wore a motorcycle helmet and a bulletproof vest in the parliament. This was as the parliament speaker banned private security guards from all parties. The MP who wore a helmet to the parliament was Abir Moussi, a senior member of the secular Free Destourian party. She was sitting in parliament with a picture of Ben Ali’s predecessor, Habib Bourguiba.
