Twitter deletes tweets on handling of coronavirus on government's order, centre clarifies

Microblogging platform Twitter was ordered by the central government to delete some tweets that were flagged by the centre as spreading "fake news" about the Covid pandemic. The tweets that were deleted included posts by Congress Lok Sabha MP Revanth Reddy, Bengal minister Moloy Ghatak, actor Vineet Kumar Singh and others. However, the government said that the order was issued to stop the spread of fake news related to Covid.
