Twitter was down for several users across the US on Thursday and the company confirmed the issue saying they are investigating the issues that people face while accessing Twitter. Twitter went down roughly 45 mins before President Trump was scheduled to speak at White House social media summit. Trump sought to rally supporters with claims that FB & Twitter artificially restricted his ability to reach the audience.
