A report by a UK MP has reflected on the need for UK government to toughen measures of forced labour in China's Xinjiang province. The report aimed at tackling modern slavery has asked the UK government to ensure Uighur forced labour is not used in their supply chains. Forced labour is a common practice in China, specially in the Uighur region that is home to several minority communities including Uighurs.
