UN appreciates India for having highest number of females in peacekeeping

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres has appreciated India for having the maximum number of females in its contingents to peacekeeping services and held up its action as an example of contributions to UN values. At India's reception for International Peacekeepers Day on Friday, he said that Indian is having 22% of women in the police force and this is remarkable and extraordinary.
