UP and Bihar tops the chart of PDS corruption in the country

Till October 31, 2019, more than 807 complaints of corruption in the Public distribution system (PDS) were received across the country. Uttar Pradesh has topped the list of corruption cases with 328 complaints followed by Bihar with 108 complaints. Delhi stood 3rd in the list with 78 complaints. West Bengal has received 48 complaints. The ministry is computerizing the PDS operation in the country to improve its efficiency.
