UP set to construct World's Longest Expressway - 'Ganga Expressway'

The CM of UP, Yogi Adityanath has approved the proposal to build the Ganga Expressway during the Kumbh Mela. The Ganga Expressway will be of 600 km long starting at Meerut and ending at Prayagraj. It will have 4 access-controlled lanes that can expand to 6 lanes and needs 6,556 hectares of land. The estimated cost of this project is RS.36,000 crore. The CM says that this expressway will be the longest in the world.
