US cancels planned deployment of two warships to Black Sea amid Russia-Ukraine tensions

As tensions continue to rise between Russia and Ukraine following the deployment of Russian troops in the region near the border with Ukraine, the US navy has cancelled the deployment of two warships to the Black Sea that was planned to happen this week. Washington had informed Ankara last week that its two warships "will pass toward the Black Sea" and remain in the region until May 4. Washington is yet to speak on the cancellation.
