US Congressman used campaign money for his romantic affairs: Prosecutors

Duncan Hunter took the seat in Congress in 2009 and soon after that he started an affair with a lobbyist and spent most of his campaign money on dates with her, as told by prosecutors in a new court filing. The filing stated that he spent $1,008 of the campaign money on a ski trip with his affair. He wasted $250,000 of campaign funds on his personal expenses. Hunter has pleaded guilty in the case.
