US declined to take part in global pledge to curb online violence

The White House is not taking part in endorsing a global pledge to curb spreading violence over the internet. The world political leaders and executives from Google, Facebook, and other tech companies have compiled a set of guidelines called 'Christchurch Call.' However, the White House did not take part in it and said it would be proactive in its efforts to curb online violence while protecting the rights of free speech.
