US slams China for illegal claims in South China Sea, border disputes with India

A day after Chinese President Xi Jinping claimed that Beijing does not have any intention to fight either a “cold war or a hot war”, US has slammed Beijing for using bullying tactics. “Beijing uses bullying tactics to advance its goals, including illegal claims in the South China Sea, border disputes with India, and manipulating water flow in the Mekong River,” said US State Department spokesperson, Morgan Ortagus.
