The United States Trade Representatives office said that new tariffs on China-made consumer items would be delayed until December 15 while other products from the list were being removed from the new China tariff list altogether, citing health and national security concerns. Items such as cellphones, laptops and video game consoles along with clothing products, were put on hold. Trump had announced a 10% tariff on China products.
