US warned China about keeping sea dispute separated from COVID-19

The US has recently warned China not to take advantage of the COVID-19 situation in the South China Sea dispute. China has ramped up its self-described research stations and landed special military aircraft in the disputed sea, while the rest of the world is fighting against the novel coronavirus. US said they are calling on the PRC to remain focused on combating the global pandemic and stop exploiting the distractions.
