US-China poised for positive trade talk next week

The US and Chinese officials are working on scheduling a high-level trade talk over the telephone next week. However, a face-to-face meeting is yet to be scheduled, according to the latest reports. Efforts to start a new round of negotiations come only a week after President Donald Trump and Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping had a chat in Japan at the Group of 20 summits and agreed to restart their stalled negotiations.
