Uttar Pradesh takes back six acres of its land in Delhi from land mafias

The Uttar Pradesh government has freed six acres of its land in Madanpur Khadar village of Sarita Vihar in New Delhi from land mafias. The land that was in illegal possession of mafias, belonged to the state's Irrigation Department. The action to clear the encroachment was taken after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asked the Jal Shakti Ministry to take action against those encroaching UP Irrigation Department’s land.
