Russian President Vladimir Putin's United Russia Party is set to win a majority in the parliamentary elections in the country. With over 50 percent of the votes already counted, Putin's party was leading with 46.11 percent. In second place was the Communist Party with 21.40 percent votes. The United Russia Party is leading on 193 of the 225 parliamentary seats. The opposition has faced a massive crackdown amid the elections.
