"We are not a super world government": IOC President on human rights violations by China

International Olympics Association President Thomas Bach said the organisation is taking human rights violations by China in Tibet and Uighur region very seriously but it is not a super world government. "We are working very closely with the organising committee. We are monitoring supply chains, labour rights, freedom of the press and many other issues," Bach said ahead of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games.
