US Secretary of State Antony Blinken recently spoke to Tolo News amid the ongoing developments in Afghanistan. According to Blinken, former Afghan president Ashraf Ghani said he would "fight to the death" the night before he fled Kabul. Blinken said this when asked if US helped Ghani flee from Kabul. "What he told me in that conversation the night before he fled is that as he put it he was prepared to fight to the death," he said.
