Without hearing his case, BSF officer declared a 'foreigner' in Assam

Muzibur Rahman, an assistant sub-inspector of Border Security Force, has been declared a “foreigners” by the Foreigners' Tribunal in Assam. Without even hearing his case, the tribunal in Jorhat has declared Rahman and his wife 'foreigners.' Rahman is posted in Punjab and got to know about it when he recently visited his home. The family hails from Udaypur- Mikirpatty of Merapani in Golaghat district, near Assam-Nagaland border.
