Women marched to the streets with assault weapons in a furious display of resistance as the Taliban's power grows in many Afghan regions. Hundreds of women came out carrying weapons and screaming anti-Taliban chants in central Ghor province, which was one of the largest protests. According to reports, the Taliban has issued new regulations prohibiting women from leaving the house without a male relative and ordering males to grow beards.
