Days after reports emerged that China was planning an invasion of the independent island nation Taiwan, US warned the Communist regime against any attempt to change Taiwan's status quo. "I can tell you is it would be a serious mistake for anyone to try to change the existing status quo by force," US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said while adding that Washington has "a serious commitment to Taiwan being able to defend itself."
