16-year-old Shafali Verma becomes No 1 batter of the T20I in the world after she performed impressively in the ongoing ICC Women’s T20 World Cup by scoring 161 runs from four innings. This included her score of 47 against Sri Lanka and 46 against New Zealand. 16-year-old Verma has been praised by former India batsman Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and former Australia fast bowler Brett Lee.
