South Africa faces a shocking three consecutive defeat in first three matches of World Cup 2019 as they are surely missing their key players including AB de Villiers. But reportedly, AB de Villiers, who retired from last year in May, had offered to play the World Cup just 24 hours before the final squad was to be announced by South Africa’s selectors. The South African team management later rejected his proposal.
