Ashok Dinda was scrapped from the Bengal team over “misconduct” just before their Ranji Trophy match against Andhra. The veteran pacer, who has 420 scalps from 116 first-class matches, allegedly “abused” Bengal’s bowling coach Ranadeb Bose after the pre-match practice session on Tuesday. The Cricket Association of Bengal had an emergency meeting in the evening and decided to drop Dinda on disciplinary grounds.
