Australian Women’s team shattered world record with their win against New Zealand Women in the first ODI of the three-match series played at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui. They have now won 22 ODIs in a row, surpassing the previous record of 21 straight wins set by Aussie Men. Earlier in the day, the visiting captain Meg Lanning won the toss and invited the Kiwi team to bat first.
