Badminton world no.1 Kento Momota was among 4 people who were injured in a car crash in Malaysia on Monday, hours after winning the Malaysia Masters tournament. The accident happened on a major highway when they were heading for Kuala Lumpur International Airport in a van. The vehicle crashed into the back of a lorry, and the driver died on the spot. However, all 4 passengers escaped with minor injuries.
