India wrestler Bajrang Punia entered the quarter-final of 65 kg men's wrestling at the Tokyo Olympics after defeating Kyrgyzstan’s Ernazar Akmataliev in a closely fought bout. The scoreline read 3-3 but Punia was declared the winner because of the highest scoring move. The 22-year-old wrestler from Kyrgyzstan gave a tough fight to the Indian wrestler. Punia will now face Ghiasi Cheka of Iran in the Quarterfinals.
