BCCI expresses interest in hosting 2031 ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy

The ICC has decided to organize at least one world event in the next 8 year cycle starting from 2024 in Men’s Cricket. The events include 2 50-over Men’s WC, four T20 Men’s WC, and two Champions Trophy editions. As many as 17 countries have submitted proposals to host in individual or joint capacities in the next FTP cycle. The BCCI has also submitted a proposal to host the 2031 ODI World Cup, a Champions Trophy, and a T20 WC.
