Ben Stokes ruled out of IPL 2021

Ben Stokes on Tuesday was ruled out of the ongoing edition of the IPL after the Rajasthan Royals all-rounder sustained an injury on his finger. The 29-year-old sustained an injury on his fingers while fielding in Royals' season opener against Punjab Kings. The injury occurred while Stokes dived forward to complete a low diving catch to dismiss Chris Gayle, after which he left the field to get medical attention.
