A Victorian teenager Britney Thomas, who was all set to play professional cricket, now has a toe in place of her thumb. How? Thomas injured her thumb and underwent an operation, where a tourniquet was applied to restrict blood flow during the surgery. The hand was in plaster, but little did she know that the thumb went bad and the only option was she had to use her toe to be used as a thumb in order to play the sport.
