Champion PV Sindhu shifts focus to China Open

PV Sindhu will play her first event following the World Championship triumph at China Open, starting from September 17. The newly crowned world champion was seeded 5th and will meet 2012 Olympic champion Li Xuerui in a high-octane opening round encounter. Sindhu will launch her China campaign with a 3-3 record against the local girl but she had won the last time they faced each other at Indonesia Masters in January.
