Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed he felt “embarrassed” trying to shield his family from allegations he had raped a woman in the US. He was accused of sexually assaulting Kathryn Mayorga in a Las Vegas hotel in June 2009. The former Manchester United great admits the allegations took a mental toll on him as he was keen to protect his children from the reports. He also claimed these people play with others’ dignity.
