India were outplayed by North Korea (DPR Korea) in the Intercontinental Cup. The Koreans thrashed India 5-2 to throw the hosts out of the race for the final in the four-nation tournament. North Korea’s Jong Il Gwan scored twice, and Sim Hyon Jin, Ri Un Chol and Ri Hyong Jin each hit once. Lallianzuala Chhangte and captain Sunil Chhetri reduced the margin for India as the Blue Tigers showed a spirited display later.
