France football magazine to hand out award for goalkeepers 'Yashin Trophy'

The France football magazine that the organizers, will hand out a Ballon d'Or award for goalkeepers- Yashin Trophy for the first time, which will be named after the Soviet International, Lev Yashin. Lev Yashin is the only goalkeeper to have won the Ballon d'Or itself. A shortlist for the prizes in 3 categories would be declared on Oct 21. Yashin played 21 seasons with local outfit Dynamo & won the award in 1963.
