Sunil Gavaskar took a dig at MCC’s proposal of using single-make balls in Test cricket, suggesting it would be very unfortunate as the decision will take away all the challenges of playing in overseas conditions. The World Cricket Committee of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) has recently recommended the use of a standard ball in the upcoming World Test Championship, which starts after the World Cup in May-July.
