India’s Harbhajan Singh and Javagal Srinath are among the 18 new honorary life members announced by MCC. Singh is the third highest wicket-taker for India in Tests with 417 wickets in 103 matches, while Srinath is one of the ODI greats, with 315 scalps to his credit. Apart from the Indian duo, England’s leading run-scorer in Tests, Sir Alastair Cook, and fellow Englishmen Ian Bell and Marcus Trescothick have also been included.
