ICC bans Oman cricketer for 7 years for corruption

ICC has banned Oman cricketer Yousuf Abdulrahim Al Balushi for 7 years over corrupt practices during the 2019 T20 World Cup Qualifier last month. ICC’s anti-corruption unit had filed charges when Yousuf was found guilty on four counts that included match-fixing as well. He hasn’t been an active member of Oman cricket team for the last few years after getting selected among the reserves for the 2016 T20 World Cup.
