East Bengal clinched a late equalizer courtesy, Marcos Espada, to hold visitor Real Kashmir FC to a 1-1 draw in their opening match of the I-League season. Real Kashmir had earlier taken the lead midway through the first half when Gnohere Krizo found the back of the net. However, in the 77th minute, Espada delivered a nice flick on a Juan Mera pass to breach the resolute defense of Real Kashmir goalkeeper Lachenpa.
