India beat Thailand 1-0 in the 2019 King’s Cup on Saturday to finish third in the tournament. This win is Indian’s new coach Igor Stimac’s first victory since his appointment. Anirudh Thapa scored for the Blue Tigers in the 17th minute as they held on to their nerves. It’s heartbreak for Thailand as they couldn’t avenge their 4-1 defeat from the Asian Cup after suffering defeats in both games against India in 2019.
