Indian boxing team in Italy prepare ‘plan B’ amid virus threat

The Indian boxing squad, currently in Italy, is all but ready to leave their training base since Italy declared to have the biggest surge in new coronavirus cases outside of Asia. If things get worse the Indian boxers will leave Italy’s Olympic training center in Assisi. The 13-member squad has been preparing in Assisi over the past two weeks ahead of next month’s Asia/Oceania Olympic qualifying tournament in Jordan.
