India's PV Sindhu reaches quarter-finals after defeating Denmark’s Mia Blichfeldt
India's star shuttler PV Sindhu stormed her way into the quarter-finals of the women’s singles badminton event at the Tokyo Olympics, after a thumping victory over the World No. 12 Danish shuttler Mia Blichfeldlt. Sindhu beat Blichfeldlt 21-15, 21-13 in just 41 minutes at the Musashino Forest Plaza. She will now face the winner of the Round of 16 match between Japan's Akane Yamaguchi and 12th seed Kim.
