IPL 2021: Shreyas Iyer to get entire salary despite missing the whole season

Shreyas Iyer dislocated his right shoulder during the ODI series between India and England. And, the injury was serious enough for the Indian batsman to be ruled out of IPL. Iyer is expected to undergo surgery on 8th April 2021. But then, even though Iyer will not offer his services for the DC side in the 2021 edition of the IPL, he is expected to get his full salary, and the DC will have to shell out INR 7 Crore from their purse.
