BCCI adopted a new bidding process this year for selling the media rights of the IPL for the five-year cycle from 2023 to 2027. As per reports, the television rights have been sold for a whopping sum of INR 57.5 crore (per match) and the digital rights for a number of INR 48 crore (per match). The winner for the TV rights has been decided, however, an official confirmation is awaited, while the winner for the digital rights still remains uncertain.
