ISL league toppers will get direct entry in 2021 Asian Champions League

The team that tops points table at the end of 2019-20 Indian Super League season will be given a direct entry into AFC Champions League 2021. Winners of I-League will directly qualify for 2021 AFC Cup. Interestingly, it’s not the team who wins the ISL final will gain qualification. To date, since it’s renamed AFC Champions League in 2002-03 season, no Indian club has made it to the group stage of the competition.
