India’s Elavenil Valarivan won her first gold medal in the women’s 10m Air Rifle event at the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol stage. In her debut appearance at the senior level, Elavenil had shot 251.7 in the finals leaving behind Seonaid Mcintosh of Britain, who ended for a silver with an effort of 250.6. India has now bagged three out of the four possible World Cup gold medals in the women’s 10m Air this year.
